This page explains the personal data Pelaris Trading handles, how long it stays, and what you can require of us.

What is collected

  • Ordinary server logs — IP, device and the pages requested
  • What you have bought from us, so we can answer questions about it later
  • Your name, address, email and phone — the minimum a delivery needs

No card or banking credentials are collected — UPI payments happen inside your own banking app and Cash on Delivery is settled with the courier, so those details never pass through this website.

Purpose

For fulfilment, correspondence, returns and refunds, and the record-keeping the law imposes — we build no advertising profiles and we do not sell data.

Third parties

Whoever has to see it to get the parcel to you, which means the courier and our hosting and email providers, and none may use the data for their own purposes. Anything handed to an authority is handed over because the law requires it.

Food shown in product photographs is styling only. We collect nothing about what you store or cook.

How long data stays

Orders and invoices remain on file for the statutory retention period and no longer . Enquiries that led nowhere are deleted after closure; we keep nothing ‘just in case’.

Cookies and the basket

The basket and login need cookies to work; beyond that we only count page views . Browser-level blocking is possible; the basket then fails.

We send no marketing email . Order updates are the whole of it.

What you can ask for

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000) give you the right to see the personal data we hold, to have it corrected, and to have it erased where no law obliges us to keep it Route it through the Grievance Officer below and expect a reply within a reasonable period.

Grievance Officer

Data complaints belong with the Grievance Officer — [email protected], or by post at Jagjeevan Ram Nagar, 250, Patni Pura Rd, Sector J, LIG Colony, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452001, India — please put “Grievance” in the subject line so it is routed correctly. It is a role, filled from our own team, and every complaint is acknowledged and answered.

Keeping it safe

HTTPS covers the site, and only the staff who pack orders can open order records . We would notify you and the regulator if a breach ever reached your data.
